  • Applications should include a copy of the label’s request for the subvention including the amount requested and an explanation of how the funds will be used and a detailed budget. Each budget must show costs without the subvention, and again costs with the enhancements included.

  • A detailed and completed budget showing costs without the subvention, and again the amount with the enhancements made possible by subvention, submitted on the Barr Ferree Budget Request Form.

    • For music publications, please indicate how you plan to release your work. If releasing with a label, a letter from the label outlining their commitment to the project is requested. For self-releases, please describe your release plans.

      • Letter of recommendation to be provided by Chair/Supervisor or if recent PhD, academic adviser. If Label does not have this letter at time of application, the letter may be emailed to bferree@princeton.edu by the application deadline.
